I was looking for something to do that's easy to raise and are interesting so hear are my questions
•are they noisy
•can I make a profit off of them
•how much room do they need
•any other birds are animals that I might be interested in that's easy to take care of other than chickens

I wish I could help you. I really know nothing about them other than hunting them.
They make noise I know that. I don't know about your area but most places I know there's no market for them except large scale raising for hunting. On top of that feed isn't cheep. I do know that ;)

I just started raising ring neck pheasants this year, mostly for myself and a hobby. Although, I have a few co-workers interested in some for the meat as well as some for the eggs. They are a pretty delicate bird to to raise when you first get them, but if they make it past the 6 weeks, they seem to be pretty hardy. I have three that are in a 10x24 pen, and 4 more (down from 12) inside my garage under a heat lamp. Not sure I'll make any money, but they are fun to watch.
Oh BTW, I am new to this forum, it looks pretty interesting.

Hi this is cow farmer I got a new iPod and couldn't remember the pass word any way we bought some ring nech pheasants in the sprin a male and two females on the way home the male tore the hens backs up so we put them in a rabbit hutch seperate it was to small so we gave to a guy I learned that the males are noisy in the spring they need lots of space and do ur research before u but lol
