In beginning people stick to original breeds, but after some research farmers started to cross different breeds to get more production in mean of beef & dairy.

Question is that, what you think about mixing 2 different breeds to have new one?

We have tried jersey with sahiwal bull, to increase dairy production & immune system to resist hot environment.

in 2nd lactation we raised a cow who is look like jersey with sahiwal traits, milk production is increased but immune system is not developed yet, we still doing experiment to get immune traits in cross breed to increase dairy production.

I am a beef producer. Crossing breeds creates hybrid vigor or heterosis. I would not pursue creating new breeds. My goal would to be crossing only for the purpose of obtaining heterosis.
Nice to know you, we are mutton & dairy producer, also agriculture enthusiastic.

We did not yet tried hybrid goats yet, but we are doing research to take any actions because local farmers use to inject semen instead of breeding or like so techniques to obtain good characteristic goats.

Thank you. I have some Pakistani friends. I am familiar with your cattle industry. You will also get hybrid vigor with goats. It works with all mammals when isolated gene pools are mixed.
