I'm a starting hobby animal raiser. Have two Holstein steer bottle calves and may be getting two jersey/angus crossed heifers. The steers are my learning the cattle rearing part the heifers I want to breed and use the calves for meat in the future. I'm playing around in this with very limited funds thus the breeds I'm using. When the heifers are breed able what can I breed her to for increased meat of the calves. Do I stay angus as I've heard they are the usual cross and tend to have lower birth weight calves or can I go with something else to make the calves stockier and less milk cowish
