Gettin 3 or 4 jersey steer bottle calf this wk. best i got it figured i can double my money just about in 3 to 4mos. Triple in 6. And so on. According to the local market right now. Ive raised alot of beef calves but not from bottle. Always bought em weaned. Whats everybodyelses experience with these jersey bottle calves

They don't sell for as much as a beef calf. You will want to dehorn so you won't get dinged for that at the sale barn. Bottle calves can be tricky. You have to be very careful or they can get really sick really fast. Watch their poop and if they scour, get them rehydrated fast. Is it cold where you are? They need a very warm place out of the wind.
