Hi,

We are a consultancy firm and are interested in speaking with anyone who has experience conducting mastitis diagnostic testing on a dairy farm, e.g., if you've used tests such as Mastdecide, Petrifilm, Veto rapid / slide, AccuMast, Point of Cow, or different types of bacterial culture to diagnose mastitis in your dairy herd.

We are interested in hearing about your approach to mastitis management on the farm, and your perception of the mastitis diagnostic test you use; these insights will be used to help guide the development of new mastitis diagnostic tests that could provide more benefit for dairy farmers.

If you're interested in helping with our research, please do get in touch ASAP (by emailing [email protected]), and we can get a 60-minute phone / web-based call scheduled this week or next - you will be compensated with a £200 gift card for your time.

Thank you!

I don't know if my experience is going to help, but I'll give it to you anyway and you can save your money. During my time as a manager in several large dairies, we experience terrible times with the new technologies in the detection of residual drugs in milk and treated cows.
It seemed that the reach of new ways of testing for them at the infinitesimal level was possible.
So anyway we could reduced their use, were good news and here is were home bacteriological testing fitted so well; because of the time saving factor in waiting for results from the lab, and the not need to treat for Gram negatives, right there you reduce about 50% intramammary treatments and give you a better chance to discern wich treatment a patient should be treated with when the tech ID the colonies. Yeah, is a peach.
