Hi i recently bought a suckler bred limousine calf, i tried to give her milk but she wouldnt take it. She was on meal for a short while but she wasnt eating much so we put her in with the other heifers who are about 15 months old, the calf is roughly 5 months old. She was an excellent heifer when i bought her but she hasnt done well since then, she hasnt thrived at all since she isnt getting meal with the other heifers, i am going to seperate her and make sure shes on fresh grass and give her plenty of meal, i am just wondering if she should start to thrive and be as good as she can be once she starts getting meal

Ok thanks. She is fine i dont think it was a matter of getting cholostrum or not. She wouldnt drink or eat meal or anything so we just put her out with our other calves who were just on grass, so she wasnt exactly getting the royal treatment i was just wondering if that will have any impact on her in the future or will she thrive again when she starts eating some meal
