Hi everyone back now that the holidays are over and life is settling back down. Were the Holidays good for you?

I just saw this and wondered if anyone else happened to see it? and what do you think?

http://www.cattlenetwork.com/cattle-news/Now-they-need-a-definition-239323591.html

It's about this:
A McDonald’s web page outlines the company’s plan for sustainable beef, which includes:

  • Create principles and criteria for sustainable beef production
  • Identify and test sustainable beef production practices
  • Lead with transparency and engagement
  • Work closely with our suppliers and other partners for change in the industry

I'm wondered about the criteria they are setting up.

What do you think about all this?

They have a hard time defining sustainable. Cattle production is complicated and to define one method as sustainable would require a massive research project. I have a feeling they'll just go with what sounds best, wind energy sounds sustainable but when you get the un-skewed facts, those wind farms use about as much energy as they produce. What's sustainable about that?
